Google today updated its Snapseed photo editing application and gave it the ability to edit RAW images. RAW editing enables new controls for correcting exposure, color, and tone after images have been taken. For example, RAW editing includes the ability to boost shadows and recover highlights to balance out exposures. Other improvements include a tap-to-hide control panel, zoom navigator, and fixes to filter names and Exif data. Snapseed is free to download from the Google Play Store.
