Skype Offering 'Share' Button to Web Sites
Nov 4, 2015, 8:26 AM by Eric M. Zeman

Skype today announced a new web button for sharing content directly to Skype. Similar to the way such buttons work for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and other social networks, the Skype share button will let people send articles, links, images, and videos directly to Skype contacts. Once the button is pressed, users need to sign into their Skype account, select one or more contacts, and send. The button is launching worldwide on MSN.com today. Skype said the tool works on both desktop and mobile web sites, and it hopes developers will add the button to their own pages over time.
