Google Working On AI-Assisted Messenger App
Dec 23, 2015, 7:43 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Google is prepping a mobile messaging app that is assisted by artificial intelligence, reports the Wall Street Journal. The service will integrate chatbots with a message application that will allow people to converse with friends or bots. The bots can scour the web to answer questions, said people familiar with Google's plans. The unnamed service does not have a projected launch date, but aims to compete with offerings from Facebook and others. Google declined to comment on the Journal's story.
