Google Play to Improve Beta App Discovery
May 18, 2016, 4:01 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Google plans to make it easier for people to find and test beta applications in the Google Play Store. Google said it will begin to surface beta apps within search results in order to improve visibility. Users will be able to opt-in and send feedback to developers more directly. Google said it will begin bundling apps together in theme collections, as well. For example, a collection might feature a home finder app as well as a mortgage finder and real estate agent search tool. Google is also offering developers with more behind-the-scenes tools to assess beta apps and make fixes thanks to diagnostic reports.
