Toyota and Uber today announced a partnership that will see the two companies collaborate on several new initiatives. The idea is to establish new services that can benefit Toyota and Uber's shared customers. For example, the companies plan to create new leasing options for car purchasers who can cover their vehicle payments through Uber-generated earnings. The companies are also looking at a car-based application that can assist Uber drivers. Toyota and Uber did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership.
