Intel today announced it will collaborate with Siano Mobile Silicon to integrate the company's multi-standard TV chip into its mobile platform. Siano's chip is expected to work with all popular standards other than Qualcomm's FLO. It is capable of receiving DVB, DAB and DMB video on a wide range of frequencies. Mobile processor competitor Qualcomm recently announced a chip for its 3G platforms that works with DVB-H, ISDB-T and its own FLO standard.
