Google recently updated its Chrome browser for Android devices with several performance improvements. Fire and foremost, Android users can rely on Android Pay to make purchases online when browsing. Specifically, Google added support for the PaymentRequest web standard, which allows online retailers to add Android Pay as a payment option to their mobile web sites. Google says the latest version of Chrome for Android is 15% faster than before. Further, the browser has made gains in power management and now consumes less battery power. Chrome is free to download from the Google Play Store.
