Twitter Mobile Apps Can Now Share Live Video

Twitter today said users of its Android and iOS mobile applications can broadcast live video from their phone. The new live video tool is built into the app, though it relies on Periscope's backbone. Twitter bought Periscope, the live video app, last year. Twitter says anyone can watch live video and participate by posting comments are sending hearts. The feature will reach Twitter's mobile apps over the next few days.
