Twitter Debuts 'Explore' Tab In Mobile Apps
Jan 26, 2017, 1:24 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Twitter today took a step toward simplifying the process of browsing through and searching for content in its Android and iOS mobile apps. Moving forward, Twitter is combining the Trends, Moments, and Search functions into a single tab called Explore. Twitter says it has been testing this layout for a while now and early adopters suggest it is easier to use for discovering interesting and current content. The tab combines live video, a search bar, as well as the Trends and Moments tabs into one space for exploration. The new Explore tab will reach Twitter for iOS starting today and follow on Android in a few weeks.
