Google Continues March Toward Mobile

Google today launched a new application that provides a faster, easier way to access Gmail accounts. The Java application allows users to read their Gmail in an interface similar to the desktop experience. It also provides many of the same options as the desktop client. It is being launched on Sprint, however any user with a Java enabled phone should be able to download the application directly from Google. Gmail's WAP site is also still available for users who cannot or do not wish to run Java applications. Separately, YouTube CEO Chad Hurley recently stated that he expects YouTube to be available to mobile users sometime next year. YouTube was recently purchased by Google.

It is fun if I want to watch some teens skateboarding into a bus, or see some redneck with a webcam tell me what he thinks of the war.
sounds pretty funny to me 🤣 🤣
This is GREAT!
Next step: Let it run in the background, and notify you of new e-mail (like the Gmail Notifier does...checking however often you choose).
