Apple today said it will introduce hundreds of new emoji with the debut of iOS 11.1 as soon as next week. The company has baked support for Unicode 10 into the future release of iOS and plans to disseminate it to developers and beta testers in the days ahead. Unicode 10 includes new characters, food, animals, creatures, and hand gestures. Apple says the new emoji will be available within iOS, macOS, and watchOS. Apple didn't say when the final version of iOS 11.1 will be available.
