Prada and LG To Launch New Phone Together

LG today announced that it will launch a new high-end fashion phone together with Prada early next year. The fashion house and phone manufacturer have worked to create a new phone from the ground up instead of re-badging an existing model. The new phone will feature an "advanced touch interface which eliminates the conventional keypad." Because of LG's success with the Chocolate, this most likely means the phone will have a capacitive keypad like the Sony Ericsson W950. Prada also worked with LG to design new software, user interface, ringtones and packaging for the phone. It will launch in Europe early next year, indicating the phone will be a GSM device.
