Immersion and Apple Come to Terms Over Touch Patents

Immersion Corporation today said it has reached an accord with Apple concerning touch feedback patents. Immersion sued Apple in 2016 over the iPhone's use of touch and haptic technology. Later, the U.S. International Trade Commission agreed to weigh the case. Immersion now says it has entered into settlement and license agreements with Apple. The terms are confidential.
