LG is ready to announce a version of the Shine to the US at CES. The Shine is the successor to the Chocolate, which has been sold on Verizon since the fall. It is slimmer than the Chocolate, but is similarly a slider with a large QVGA display. It is named Shine because the display is reflective when off. In addition to the large display, the Shine features an advanced 2 Megapixel autofocus camera, 1 GB of RAM, Bluetooth and EV-DO data. LG has not revealed which carrier will get the Shine.
