Google Makes It Easier to Find and Book Hotels and Flights

Google today improved the way Google Search finds and sorts hotels and flights when planning trips. To start, searching for hotels should now include better price filters and quickly discoverable details, such as hotel amenities. Moreover, people will be able to book hotels directly from within Google Search. The company is also taking steps to pair hotel and flight search results. For example, a new "flights" shortcut will appear on the upper corner of hotel search results, and vice versa, making it easy to find a hotel and flight together. Google Search is adding a tool called More Destinations that will provide details concerning other places that might be of interest. These recommendations are made based on the user's search history. Last, a section called Your Trips will surface easy-to-digest, shareable details about upcoming and past travel reservations culled from Gmail. These functions should appear in Google Search on mobile devices over the coming days.
