Facebook Messenger Lets Users Send HD Video and 360-Degree Photos
Apr 3, 2018, 8:00 AM by Eric M. Zeman

Facebook updated its Facebook Messenger app today with more media-sharing powers. The latest version of Messenger can be used to share 720p high definition video with others. The high-def video will need to be shared from the camera roll and cannot be taken directly with the in-app camera. The app now also supports sharing 360-degree photos. As with video, people will need to capture the 360-degree shots outside of Facebook Messenger and then share from the in-app share menu. Facebook Messenger is free to download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store.
