Following Microsoft's model, Palm and Nokia have established downloads to help users of their smartphones update and avoid any daylight savings time (DST) issues. With DST ending 3 weeks earlier this year many smartphones and other devices are at risk of displaying the incorrect time, which could lead to problems for users. Palm says both its smartphones and handhelds will need the fix in order to display the correct time come March 11. Nokia has also posted a fix for its E Series devices, which will be affected by the change in DST. See links below to download the updates.

Just set you Treo to get time from the network and there won't be a problem.
Is that all that's required? If so, it's pretty dumb to offer a "fix" when you can change your settings in 3 seconds.
