Google Lets Local Guides Upload Video from iPhones
Aug 23, 2018, 9:58 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today gave its local guides another tool to help with the task of providing information about local businesses: video. Google says iPhone owners can "show off their favorite places in motion." The ability to add video is in the same menu as that for sharing photos. Local guides can take advantage of the tool right away. Local guides are people who voluntarily contribute ratings, reviews, photos, and now videos to Google Maps. These contributions improve the information available to people who search for specific businesses or points of interest.
