Sanyo Bringing Another Entry Level Model To Sprint

The FCC today approved the Sanyo 3200 for Sprint's network. This new model will improve upon the 3100 by adding Bluetooth, and modernizing the entry level line with a new design including an internal antenna. The styling is similar to that of the M1, with a rectangular shape and a slanted hinge. The 3200 appears to retain all of its predecessor's features including a small external display, camera, and ReadyLink Push To Talk. Sprint and Sanyo have not yet announced these new models, so availability and price are not known yet.

Yet another CLUNKER from Sprint
This is ridiculous. I finally had to give up on my Samsung i500 and accept the introduction of the year-old Motorola Q because (a) they never introduced the i550, the i600 was sub-par (no graffiti) and while other carriers are busy introducing small, not-wide, slimmer PDA phones Sprint is busy bulking up and introducing old, tired Q's and other phones, like the "never more than 9 speed dial" Sanyos.

I HATE these damn phones! Spring is STILL releasing these Sanyo phones with the big front speaker and fatso-thickness reminiscent of several years ago... Has anything changed on Sanyo's chunky, ugly handsets for the past 4 years?!

Yes, because god forbid every phone doesnt have a 32 megapixel camera, camcorder, 1 GB of internal memory, a flip out cup holder, built in wi-fi, full browser and windows media player.

that there will be a few extra tweaks here and there as well. possibly the addition of either video OR 1.3mp camera, seeing as how LG did that last year with the lx350 (1.3mp cam, video, BT) so why won't sanyo follow suit?
