Google has replaced the USB dongle for sale on its site with a new version of the go-between. The new connector features some minor internal tweaks to increase music playback time and reduce plug-in latency with Pixel phones. Google claims playback time has jumped 38% and latency has dropped by 53% when compared to the original dongle. The dongle allows people to plug the 3.5mm headphones of their choice into the Pixel's USB-C port for audio. The old dongle cost $9 and the new one costs $12.
