Qualcomm has trimmed 269 jobs from data center locations in California and North Carolina. Earlier this year, the company said its data center business was struggling. It cut more than 1,500 jobs in April. "Qualcomm conducted a small reduction of our full-time and temporary workforce in certain areas of the company," said Qualcomm in a statement provided to TechCrunch. This week, the company made significant announcements concerning future products, including its signature processor for 2019, the Snapdragon 855. The 855 will serve as the brains in next year's high-end flagship phones from the likes of LG, OnePlus, and Samsung.
