Disney will begin launching new features for its MVNO subscribers this summer. The first will be a location based service called Scout that will display points of interest near the user's location. Scout will be followed by a photo upload service that will send pictures taken from Disney cameraphones to a photo sharing site. Many carriers and MVNOs offer a similar service. Disney Mobile also expects to launch a unique online calendaring service late this year. Parents can manage the family calendar from a website and updates can be pushed as alerts to family phones.
