Two New 3G Phones From Nokia Have High End Features

Nokia today also launched two 3G phones for use outside the US. Both phones go by the 6500 model number, but one is a Slider and the other a "Classic" candybar. Both models runs Series 40 with quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual band (850/2100) WCDMA, QVGA screens, Bluetooth and a unified MicroUSB connector for sync, charging and even headset in on the "Classic." The Classic features a 2 Megapixel camera and 1 GB of built in memory and is 9.5mm thick. The Slider features a 3.2 Megapixel auto-focus camera with dual LED flash and a MicroSD slot that is SDHC capable, as well as TV-out.

Why not U.S.? It has quad band/dual band WCDMA!!!
I don't understand why these handsets can't be for the U.S., the article says that they are quad band gsm, and dual band WCDMA 850/2100.
So I don't see why this can't be picked by AT&T, is it because it has a 3.2mp autofocus camera, and therfore TOO GOOD for AT&T!!!!!

Simple, it does not feature WCDMA 1900. AT&T's WCDMA/UMTS network uses both the 850 and 1900 bands. The 850 band on this phone is mainly for Telstra in Australia, however it could be used for roaming in the United States. For full usage on Cingular...
