Nokia To Restructure In 2008

In a move Nokia hopes will help to streamline managing the company and bring new products to market quicker, it is reorganizing its internal structure. There will be two major divisions, Devices & Services, and Nokia Siemens Networks. Each will report financial results separately. The Devices & Services division will be composed of three subgroups: Devices, Services and Software, and Markets. Each will be headed by existing Nokia executives. Nokia's CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, and other board members' roles will be unchanged. The reorganization will take effect beginning in January 2008.
