First LiMo Handsets Unveiled

The LiMo Foundation and its partners showed off 18 handsets based on LiMo's mobile Linux platform. The phones come from seven different vendors, including LG Electronics, Motorola, NEC, Panasonic Mobile Communications and Samsung. Some of them have already been announced by the manufacturers, such as the Motorola ROKR E8 and RAZR2 V8. There were also concept phones from Aplix and Purple Labs. These phones represent the first generation to use LiMo's platform.
