LinkedIn Launches WAP Site
Feb 25, 2008, 10:19 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Professional social networking web site LinkedIn has launched a new site for its users, including a WAP site and an iPhone-optimized site. For now, both versions provide basic access to your contact database and allow you to forward job postings or view detailed information about your professional contacts. You cannot accept or decline invitations, update your profile, nor reply to job posts. LinkedIn plans to release downloadable applications for the BlackBerry, Palm, and Windows Mobile platforms that will integrate with on-board contact programs and cameras. It did not, however, reveal a time frame for those applications.
