Here is an in-depth look at the Nokia N900 multimedia device. This Maemo 5-based hardware runs fast and has a great display. Too bad U.S carriers aren't selling it.

Browser zooming?

I know there is no multi-touch.... therefore no pinch and zoom... but how easy is it to zoom onto what you need in the browser? Is it clunky?
from what I read, you do a corkscrew like motion with the finger to zoom in and reverse to zoom out

Learning curve?

The video gave a nice introduction to the n900 but I would like to know how easy it was to get used to the new interface and OS? Did things seem intuitive? Since you held the phone in landscape mode, which side had the microphone?
