Verizon Wireless unveiled a slew of announcements today, one of them concerns its mobile TV offering. Verizon Wireless phones that have full HTML browsers, including smartphones such as BlackBerries, can access Verizon's lineup of V CAST video content. The V CAST content is not the same as Verizon's MedaiFLO live TV offering, but this new capability will allow more handsets to access the video content. Verizon also announced a new mobile social networking application, called SocialLife, Ringback Buddies, and City ID for LG Voyager.
