WebCapTel On the Go Launched by Sprint
Oct 21, 2008, 8:16 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Sprint launched the WebCapTel On the Go service. It is a free mobile Web-based offering that allows hard of hearing customers to read word-for-word captions on the browser of Windows Mobile 6 phones. Users would make calls using two phones — reading captions on a wireless phone and listening and speaking on a second phone. Prior to making a call, the user would need to log onto WebCapTel On the Go on one mobile device to read text captions of what the other party is saying. The service only works for calls made to/from the U.S. International calls are not compatible.
