Symbian to Get Geo-Positioning Via Wi-Fi

Skyhook Wireless has created technology that will allow Symbian-based phones to use Wi-Fi to determine location information. Using Wi-Fi can provide quicker location acquisition in urban and indoor environments where GPS and cellular signals sometimes don't reach. Symbian and Skyhook have not said when the technology will reach handsets.
