Nokia Introduces the 6260 Slide

Today Nokia announced the 6260 Slide, a new quad-band GSM/EDGE phone with HSDPA 10.2Mbps / HSUPA 2Mbps 3G capabilities. Other radios include GPS, Wi-Fi, FM radio and stereo Bluetooth v2.1. The 6260 Slide also has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and video capture. The 6260 runs Series 40 6th Edition, supports microSD cards up to 8GB, and has stereo speakers. The 6260 has a 2.5mm headset jack that supports TV out. It will cost $385 and will be available in the first quarter of 2009. At the same time, Nokia also released a new SDK for Series 40 6th Edition. The SDK provides application developers and network operators with new tools to create applications and services for Series 40 phones.
