Facebook, Windows Live Added to Xperia X1

Sony Ericsson has created two new panels for the Xperia X1 smartphone. The first new panel is for Facebook and provides a customized interface for interacting with the social networking site. The panel gives users a new visual representation of friends' statuses, better photo uploads, and access to Facebook friends list and phone numbers, with click to call capabilities. Sony Ericsson also added Windows Live from Microsoft, which has its own version of the Microsoft messenger interface, including access to Hotmail and Live Messenger. Both panels are free downloads and can be accessed from the Xperia's on-board downloader or from the Sony Ericsson Web site.
