More complete details of the Ocean 2 for Virgin Mobile's Helio service have finally emerged. The dual-slider offers many of the same features that the original Ocean carried. It runs EV-DO for 3G and also has stereo Bluetooth and GPS. The D-pad is an optical mouse that lets users scroll quickly through menus and content. The Ocean 2's display measures 2.6 inches with QVGA resolution, and automatically rotates between landscape and portrait mode when the phone is opened. It has a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, and a full HTML browser with visual tabbing and a mini map. It is pre-loaded with many of Helio's signature services, including Buddy Beacon and HelioUp. It supports Microsoft Exchange and POP3 email accounts. It is slightly thinner than the original Ocean. It will be boxed with a 512MB microSD card, but supports cards up to 2GB. It also has a 3.5mm headset jack. Pricing was not immediately disclosed.
