LG Picks Windows Mobile for Smartphone Platform

LG has committed itself to launching a range of smartphones using Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5. It will use Windows Mobile as its primary smartphone platform moving forward, and plans to have 50 Windows Mobile 6.5 phones in the market by 2012. HTC and Samsung have also committed to the Windows Mobile 6.5, and AT&T, Verizon, and Orange will be the first network operators carrying it.
