Dolby Blasts Out Media Generator

Dolby Laboratories announced a new tool for network operators and content creators to compress audio content while maintaining high-quality audio fidelity. The Dolby Media Generator will make use of Dolby Pulse, an audio codec based on the HE AAC open standards. Dolby expects the Media Generator will help networks operators disseminate better-quality audio products over the air.
