Ditech's toktok Enables In-Call Voice Searching
Mar 3, 2009, 9:16 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Ditech Networks announced a new service offering today that will allow users to perform voice-activated searches and other functions on their mobile phone during the middle of a phone call. With a call in progress, a user will say "toktok" and then proceed with voice commands to search their email, open their contacts, check their calendars and even access social networking tools. After the search is done, users can return to their phone call. The idea is to allow people to interact with their phones without the use of their hands. toktok will be offered as an invite-only beta later this spring.
