Today Qualcomm announced that its MediaFLO mobile TV service is now available in 19 more markets. In addition to the expansion to markets such as Atlantic City, N.J.; Greensboro, N.C. and Wilmington, Del., Qualcomm also said that a large handful of other markets will see enhanced coverage and service. Qualcomm's MediaFLO footprint now covers some 68 markets across the U.S., and is available via AT&T and Verizon Wireless. This most recent expansion has been made possible by those TV stations who've switched away from analog to digital broadcasting.
