Novarra Aims to Improve Smartphone Web Surfing

Today Novarra announced its new Vision Platform for smartphones. The platform takes advantage of the hardware on smartphones, such as touch screens and keyboards and integrates those components into HTML and other web technologies to make browsing better. It offers support for video, Flash, multimedia and RSS; SmartNav single click jump to search, login and main content; multiple viewing options that make the best use of the particular handset's strengths; mobile widgets and personalized content; and network-based acceleration to speed up content delivery. The Vision Platform is a product for handset makers and network operators to deploy.
