Today AT&T announced the AT&T Apps Beta program. Apps Beta is a place for power users and content providers to engage in dialog about applications and services. End users will have access to applications, and the developers will be able to see and respond to user feedback. They will also be able to collect user data for marketing purposes and build buzz about applications and services. All the apps will be free, and the program is available to a variety of AT&T phones.
