Alltel Flips Out for RIM's Pearl 8230

Today Alltel announced that it will soon sell the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. This is a CDMA variant of the Flip, which was first introduced as a GSM phone in 2008. Basic features include a 2 megapixel camera, trackball with SureType keypad, 16GB microSD support, Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth. It will cost $80 after rebate with new agreement. It will be available in retail stores and online beginning in early May.
