Microsoft Works Voice Controls into Windows Mobile 6.5
Apr 29, 2009, 7:43 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Microsoft announced new technology that it is going to make available to Windows Mobile 6.5 devices later this year. Using software from its TellMe subsidiary, Windows Mobile 6.5 users will be able to open a new text message, dictate the message, and send the message all via voice commands. The same applies to calling contacts as well as using Microsoft's Live Search to perform web searches. Microsoft says that this service is the first to combine both voice commands and the ability to add content to text fields at the press of a single button. The software will be free when it becomes available later this year.
