Google Lets Latitude Users Push Location to GChat and Blogs
May 5, 2009, 1:15 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google has expanded the capabilities of its Latitude service. Latitude, which is a location-sharing feature within Google Maps for Mobile, can now push location information into GChat and user blogs. It automatically updates your status message with your current city's name as you move from place to place. The Location Badge feature will post your Google Latitude location publicly on a blog or web site. Both features are opt-in, and free to use.
