NFC Forum Cooks Up Its 'Mark'
Jun 2, 2009, 9:13 AM by Eric M. Zeman

Today the Near Field Communication Forum announced the "N-Mark", a new way to help consumers visualize NFC tags and branding. The N-Mark will be used by device manufacturers and content creators to show where an NFC-equipped device and NFC tagged object can be paired. When consumers wave their phones over the N-Mark, they'll be able to access whatever information is stored in that tag, be it transit schedules, maps, film trailers, or retail coupons.
