FCC Reveals Entry-Level Motorola Phone

New documents recently made public on the FCC web site show a Motorola-branded phone that the user manual refers to as the W165/W172. It's not clear, however, if the phone is actually manufactured by Motorola, because Cheng Uei Precision Industry of Taiwan is the manufacturer listed in the FCC documents, and Brightstar is the corporation actually applying for FCC approval. The W165/W172 is a simple GSM 850/1900 monoblock phone with FM radio (W172 only), 2.5mm headset jack and other basic features. Motorola has not announced this phone.
