Jun 15, 2009, 9:24 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Samsung introduced a new version of its Touchwiz user interface. It brings with it a host of new features, including a new 6-sided, cube-based interface. It's called the multi-media cube. It provides direct access to different applications and multi-media features which serve as shortcuts to those apps. It has 3D-enablement of the UI, parts of the UI are more 3D in appearance. Touchwiz 2.0 has three customizable widget screens and downloadable widgets. It also has a motion-response UI, using accelerometer support for navigating through the UI. Last is a new smart unlock application so you can access apps directly from the unlock screen.
