Nokia to Acquire Contact Management Company

Today Nokia announced that it plans to acquire cellity for an undisclosed sum. cellity develops and markets a product that can manage disparate sources of contact data — such as email accounts, cell phones, and other cloud services — and manage them all in once place. Nokia plans to absorb all of cellity's employees and will fold the service into its social networking offerings. Nokia expects the deal to close during the third quarter.
