Today Citibank rolled out a new browser-based mobile banking service for several smartphone platforms, including BlackBerries, Palm devices and the iPhone. The service, called Citi Mobile, will allow Citibank customers to view account balances and activity, pay bills, make transfers, and locate Citi branches and ATMs directly from their phone's browser. The service is free to use, and current Citibank customers need only sign in with their exiting username and password. Citibank also offers a separate application for the iPhone that can be downloaded from the iTunes Apps Store.
