Toshiba Pushes Out First 64GB SDXC Card

Today Toshiba announced a 64GB SDXC memory card. This SD card is one of the first to reach such a capacity. The card has maximum write speed of 35Mbps, and a read speed of 60Mbps. SD cards are typically used in digital cameras. The card will be sampling in November and should be avaialble at retail in spring 2010. Toshiba also announced 16GB and 32GB SDHC cards. These memory cards pave the way for higher capacity microSD cards, which are what most mobile phones use.
