Samsung Intros Touch Phone for Kids

Today Samsung announced a new touch-based phone that is aimed specifically at the youth market. It features quad-band GSM/EDGE radios and comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touch display with cartoon-based user interface with one-finger zoom. It comes preloaded with access to social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr, and Twitter. It has a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, interchangeable backplates and support for microSD cards up to 8GB. The Corby will be available in European markets in the middle of September for $215.
