Today Opera announced Opera Mini 5 Beta, a new version of its mobile browser for feature phones. The new version of Opera Mini has a redesigned look and feel and offers a number of improvements. Highlights include tabbed browsing, which lets users have multiple web sites open at any time; support for touch screen devices and standard non-touch devices; a password manager that will save all user passwords; and Opera Speed Dial, which serves as a set of visual bookmarks to users' favorite or most-used sites. The beta is a free download from Opera Software.
